Something neat however is that it still shows racers from the other side, tho misaligned and probably missing elements (Storm racing off nothing)

Also something interesting are the sparkly effects persist when you're close to it, rather than being a one time thing

for anyone curious about re-entering travel rings, you cant, the game takes control and steer you away, and if you manage to forcefully get to it, it's simply a wall

For shortcut rings, they just respawn you (prolly cuz of the area behind)
