We are officially back! Working hard to take this charity to a more national level in order to bring the joy of film to underprivileged kids. Lots of new stuff on the horizon, but need to come out big to make it happen. Please share even if you can’t donate. Also, hey @jamesgunn.bsky.social!

To be 100% upfront, this year is rough. Due to the tariffs, NONE of the toy companies who’ve worked with us in years past are able to pitch in. I went to the store just to put together these demo baskets. Even if you can’t buy a full basket, smaller donations are appreciated!

POLITICO: “.. They referred to Black people as monkeys and ‘the watermelon people’ and mused about putting their political opponents in gas chambers. They talked about raping their enemies .. and lauded Republicans who they believed support slavery.

Oh man, I've seriously written and re-written this post countless times. Words fail to convey the importance this many had in movie, art, and me personally.

An undeniable legend and the greatest to ever do it. RIP Drew Struzan.

Random fun fact of the day - women are the reason #StarWars #publishing exists. And the reason it has been so successful that it could endure as it has for so many decades.

(I'm an expert on this stuff)

Always grateful for @io9dotcom.bsky.social letting me talk about Tusken Raiders in #StarWars and how they evolved in The Book of Boba Fett:

Folks...It's done. I have a first draft of a manuscript. My main goal in stepping back from Cinelinx (and for this year) was in order to get my fiction writing progressed and completing a draft of a novel—which I've tried so many times and stopped.

Fuck. Yes. #Writing #Fantasy #SciFi

I often feel at odds with other Natives about James Cameron’s #Avatar films. Thankfully @pastemagazine.bsky.social let me dive into why I love them, and how The Way of Water showcases how minority groups aren’t monolith & shouldn’t be repped that way on film. www.pastemagazine.com/movies/avata...
