We need tactical voting whilst we still have a FPTP in election, all the progressive parties come to 50% and we must prevent Reform at any cost even if you have to hold your nose and vote for a progressive party you wouldn’t ideally vote for if we had proportional representation.

This season and our best hope is the FA cup to get a European campaign next season. I fear we will lose against Spurs next week, but who wants a Conference League spot anyway? If we do finish bottom half will Howe keep his job after spending quarter of a billion in the summer? Time will tell I guess

We have been poor in the league for a while, signs were there end of last season, that last Everton game was a shocker considering it was a ‘must win’ game, we can thank Man U for helping us out there. I think there are at least 7 or 8 teams better than us in the PL and expect us to finish mid table

And it is a bit blurry). Pre season was shocking and then these first 8 games as poor as we have been for a while. Thankfully defence has been fairly solid cos other wise we would have been battered as there nothing in final two thirds really. Very poor.

Since the league cup final we have been poor. Lost in FA cup at home to Brighton, April wasn’t too bad though and was our last away win against lowly Leicester then all done hill May onwards, that last game of the season against Everton, which really was a must win was dire (thank god I was pissed

He thinks he is some world class striker and he has been found out. He really was over rated but at least we got £130m for him. Ekitike looks far better, so expect he’ll be keeping the subs bench more often. Love it.

Am loving it. Isak was over hyped and Liverpool have fell for it again and paid over the odds thinking a toon player was the new Maradona but is really a bit crap. Remember Andy Carroll? 🤣

Probably he’s proposing we look gash, the way we look/ are playing and mid table at best so he is right, we have regressed. And please don’t say the word ‘Isak’ as an excuse we’re utter shit, cos good, elite teams and managers do not implode because one player leaves.

Mid table. I think too 5 are sorted. It’ll be he cartel clubs (minus Man U) those top 5. My biggest concern is Sunderland finishing above us the way our form is.

That’s Villa leapfrogging us in the table so down to 13th. Wonder when we will found our form? Could be 14th if Brentford beat West Ham. Rather disappointing. Next three PL games are massive- if we can’t get 9 points off them we really are in trouble #NUFC

They should be able to take the criticism from fans, I spend probably £1000’s at the club over a year on merch, tickets (when win Ballot), and the odd hospitality and the ‘stuff’ you buy at the bar etc. so think we should be able to discuss what would be a better team set up etc.

Agree on the ‘avoid social media’, when we are shit, X was worse, clearly failed this weekend in here tho. Still have avoided any media report on the match though cos you’re right it can ruin your weekend. I disagree with you on calling people out when they’re gash though- they get paid a lot

Think you’re right. We were competitive against Liverpool. The signs were there end of last season - I mean that must win game against Everton, at home to clinch CL was dire we only thank Man U we got that CL spot.

Some have been shit. I call a spade is a spade. Why they all out of form? They get paid good money to be fit and had pre season (when we were also crap). You still gonna refuse to call them out if we’re in a relegation scrap? Cos next three PL games massive- Fulham, Brentford, W.Ham if we don’t get

Nah pretty poor performance as well as hard set of games. The wingers have been crap, Gordon only turns up for England (or is banned), Barnes crap. Elanga on performance so far a waste of £55m as Murphy seems better. Joelinton not great either. If defence hadn’t fairly solid we’d be screwed by now.

Assume you mean Anderson? That’s the only one I can think we have sold. If they manage PSR better we shouldn’t have to do it again (think Stavely was at fault there). But unless we consistently win stuff & in CL our best homegrown players will want to leave even if they were born in shadow of SJP

Our purchases in summer are mixed, Thiaw and Woltemade look good. Ramsey has demonstrated as feared he is in injury prone. Wissa, who knows. Elanga shit. But Howe spend quarter a billion in summer if we’re bottom half you’d wonder whether PIF would start to look elsewhere surely?

Happy Clapper say it’s all fine ‘we always start poorly’, ‘in Howe we trust’, ‘We move on’ but eventually we won’t have a purple patch like we did around Xmas last year and we/ him will get found out. I think we will finish 8th-14th, there were signs post cup final last season.
