This really is a great counter-propaganda tactic
Alt text: A person in a large green inflatable frog costume faces a line of police officers in riot gear at night. The frog has dark spots and a blue scarf. The officers wear helmets, masks, and body armor, some holding shields. Text on the image reads: “I obviously started a movement of people showing up looking ridiculous, which is the exact point. It’s to show how the narrative that is being pushed with how we are violent extremists is completely ridiculous. Nothing about this screams extremist and violent. So it's just a ridiculous narrative that the Trump administration wants to put out so they can continue their fascist dictatorship.” — Seth Todd, Portland Frog 🐸✊
yeah im starting to think this as well
what if the rapture actually happened but we didn't notice because everyone on earth is just going to hell?
Its def my personal journey, and somewhat of a sequel to my previous book on my time in the music industry. This one talks about how I got into blogging, the occupy movement, conspiracies, and how I foolishly rejected chemo when I got cancer cuz of stuff I read online and almost died, learned a lot😅
The one sentence pitch is always so hard! but I need to figure this out for publishers soon too. hmmmm

Its an in-depth look at the evolution of online subcultures since the 1990s, and exploring how many of them pushed people down a dark path, despite being very positive in the early days.
Wild that Pete Hegseth hung up posters around his college that said "My penis is furious and needs to shout" in protest of "The Vagina Monologues" .. Apparently before he started drinking.

Hegseth and other Tory members also launched a phallic counteroperation, plastering campus with their own vulgar signs, but on blue paper. One simply read: my penis is furious, and it needs to shout. Hegseth’s posters prompted a letter to the paper from a philosophy major named Dan Wachtell. Labeling the Tory staff “misogynists,” Wachtell cut straight to the gonads, lamenting that Hegseth and his ilk didn’t watch the play with their ears and eyes open: “Who knows what then might have happened? Perhaps they even could have learned where the clitoris is.”
One thing I was thinking last week when all those conservatives were saying "this is our Reichstag fire"....were they admitting they are nazis or at the very least, admitting they intend on following the nazi playbook?
the millions of lives in danger in gaza that he wont talk about? but alright, no sense in arguing, good life to you as well :-)
and also as to the "why"... a man's life is in danger
oh, you think the democrats have given people even close to "enough"?
Great, now lets have a statement for Mahmoud Khalil
Had like three chapters in my upcoming book, meticulously laying out how conservatives don't actually believe in free speech, but now its so painfully obvious I probably wont need so much exposition for the subject, and may need to rewrite a bit lol
Yeah this is sadly a thing. That kinda imagery can sometimes be a red flag for white supremacy or just being brain broken by memes. There are still many norse pagans who arent nazis, but they are certainly appropriating it
Pam Bondi fucked up using the words "hate speech" because if she just used different words to describe the same anti free speech policies they are calling for now, there would be zero backlash on the right, even more of them would have cheered it on if she called it anti american speech or smth
would be ironic if he gained less than 6 hours per day in additional life-time, and just wasted his time doing a bunch of bullshit when he could have just been enjoying his life and his wealth lol
There was a big shift in the culture online at that time, partly because more of the general population was coming online, but also organized campaigns like GG. Before the online culture was much more progressive, and I feel like we could be in a different reality if it kept going in that direction
Gamergate at the very least ruined the internet and nearly an entire generation of men
"Man setting off a chain of dominoes. The smallest domino is labeled 'Game designer breaks up with loser boyfriend' and the largest domino is labeled 'Civil War II,' implying a small event snowballing into major consequences."
I follow a lot of accounts indiscriminately in the hopes that a % of those people will follow back, so I didnt realize that this person never posted because I didnt even look at their profile when I followed them lol
