The Lifecycle of the Common Octopus - I tried really hard to like this book but couldn’t. The story is weak, the characters are flat and the narration is slow. And the metaphorical connection between the title and the book just didn’t make sense.

Pick a Colour is a book to savour. It’s a simple story of a nail salon owner and her employees, each a shade of colour. Their clients add to the palette in this very enjoyable read.

I finished the epic of a novel-The Loneliness of Sonia and Sunny. As I closed the book, I couldn’t help but miss the days I spent with the story. The writing was so good it made me part of it.
