Shot at this Eider Nesting Ground near natural hot springs in Iceland. It wasn't breeding season but I was still careful not to disturb them. 🦆

Last day in Iceland, cruising around the Hvalfjörður Whale Fjords, an #arcticfox graced us with its presence.

I was at a full sprint to get this shot from a mile away but it was still the best part of vacation!

Ptarmigan at Kiero Crater caldera! 🪶

An aptly named #Razorbill nests in the Gulf of Maine. 🕊

Photographed this summer during #breeding season these sharp beaks were a sight to behold! They could rack up several fish on a single dive to feed their chicks on the chilly #coastal waters off #Cutler, #Maine 🪶

It’s peak 🐧 #puffin breeding season. In a week or two their fledglings (aka pufflings) will hatch. Puffins will only fly once a year in order to build nests and fish for their young.
