Happy & much relieved Wednesday! I never expected it to take six attempts and to be in close shave territory, but so much hangs on the letters used in starter words & these took me on an unnerving journey. I don't believe for a moment any trickery, but that's not going to get in the way of a verse!

Happy Tuesday. After L3 there was only one credible word. Sometimes, like today, I end up with a verse that takes me places, and I get pleasantly surprised by what happens. You never know where any particular word will take you.

Happy Monday! After two lines there was only one answer. The verse is true - the whole school was gathered & we could request nursery rhymes for us all to sing. Exceeded perhaps by the scout patrol singing "Humpty Dumpty" to cheer me up after I fell out of a tree! Safeguarding? Golden days, huh?

Happy Sunday! I've got to admit I struck lucky as there were many possibilities with the run of letters I had and I hit the bullseye first shot. I'm sure there's a better verse out there - maybe the tail end of my cold is stunting my imagination. It's a bit daft!
