One time, I was stuck in the no man's land between Vietnam and Cambodia. I was trying to get a 30 day tourist visa and I was $6 short. The man at the gate gave me 24 hours. I went to the casino and won enough to get the 30 day visa.

I've been around the world teaching ESL for over ten years and I've experienced the whole visa/passport/immigration laws thingie in other countries and I'm like... very sympathetic to ANY immigrants.

Trust me, you all look like fucking asshats on the world stage.

The idea of mobile government software is something I threw out there in the hope that it would be another tool in the activist's toolkit.
