O.G.!!! Will absolutely check this out. I’m obsessive about all things Sabbath as well 🤣
Fierce. 10/10, no notes.

#UpTheIrons
Right on, man! #UpTheIrons!!
…just didnt grab me for some reason. And I REALLY wanted to like Bruce’s latest solo record, but it just feels…unfinished to me. Like the songs weren’t done, rushed.
Right there with you — I have everything they’ve ever done with the exception of the Blaze record. There are always tracks I don’t care for (Back in the Village, Quest for Fire) so I get what you’re saying. There’s much of Final Frontier I’m actually unfamiliar with, though I don’t have a reason...
I do think it polarizes people. But I absolutely LOVE it. The changes, the growth, the longer songs.

And I think it shows their age in a great, patient, proud way, instead of foolishly trying to recapture what their 30-year old selves (or younger) would have done.
Stellar on every level. 🙌🏼
Nope, not now. I could yesterday.
Elfman is from another PLANET. 🙌🏼
I can log in, but the barcode scanner is useless now with the latest iPhone. Won’t focus at all. I think the app is in dire need of an update…
Gotta tell you, Cap — I never got it like I get it now.

🙏🏼
Yep. Driven, dedicated, absolutely willing to look down over the cliff and say “fuck it, we’re jumping” in so many aspects of their careers.

And respectful and caring enough to be totally honest with one another, no matter how thorny the conversations.
Absolutely. On another level and clearly proof WHY they deserve all the status and acclaim given to them, before, then and since. 🙌🏼
It’s just incredible. And the QUANTUM leap forward when they decide to do the roof thing is really something to behold. Everyone’s playing and singing just takes off u to the stratosphere.

That is what it means to truly be a BAND. It’s what I wanted in every band I started — but never found.
These guys have more powerful, STRONG, memorable ideas int he space of 60 seconds than most people have in years. And they are completely fearless in pursuing every one of them. Deciding on the fly if it’s go or no.

Add in 2 other equally curious and fearless musicians and…just WOW.
So…I was never a massive Beatles fan. But ever since @chuckborowicz.bsky.social and I crossed paths, I’ve been digging deeper.

Last night I finally watched the GET BACK documentary. And was thoroughly FLOORED by what an incredible band this was— and the fearsome songwriting of McCartney + Lennon.
What a GIFT that man was. 🙏🏼
This is what’s so awesome about music; we all gravitate to unique things that speak to us in an equally unique way.

My only definition of “good music” is this:

The kind you like.
Oh, but I do, Cap.

I DO. 😆
