I asked a millennial if they’d rally on the 18th. They said, “I’m quietly protesting, but I’m afraid to go.” I replied, “That’s why we go.” I’m posting this for anyone who’s afraid or thinks rallies don’t matter—the opposition counts on our fear and silence.

Fairbanks’ Republican-leaning mayor, David Pruhs, has just conceded to Mindy O’Neall, who was backed by the Alaska Democratic Party.

Geez! It gets worse and worse.

I had Covid last August, but my home kits were expired so I went to a clinic. Even with insurance and my deductible met, I still paid $60. That cost will keep many from testing, and the virus spreading.
