It’s been busy! 😎⛴️⛵️🏝️🎸🎶
🍁My favourite items (besides the delicious sweet baked goods & desserts 🍨 ) were the homemade bags/purses; the creative Fall/Thanksgiving bouquets of Autumn Flowers & Pumpkins 🌻🎃 ; and all the artistic works. 🎨🧑‍🎨 at Kivi Park/Sudbury, Ontario. 🌲
Artisan Walk today at Kivi Park, Sudbury, Ontario. Northern Ontario/ Greater Sudbury. It was a beautiful Autumn walk to visit all the artisans, crafters, pottery makers, bakers, knitters, purse & millners, artists/all the talented creative vendors among the tall trees on such a warm 23 degrees day.
My ancestors immigrated from France in 1666 to Montreal, Quebec. Eventually, mid 1800’s, my direct relatives took a train (1st time they ever saw a banana) to North Bay & settled in the farming community of Verner because the Ontario government gave away free land so as to cultivate the area. 🌺🌻🌸
Awhh, that’s wonderful. Such a beautiful rugged area of wilderness yet filled with friendly people.
Strength can be staying calm even during the storm.
Strength can be never giving up for justice. ⚖️
Strength can be quietly standing up for what is right.
Always wake up and believe today will be wonderful!
Lakes in Temagami, near North Bay, Ontario which is popular for tourists who enjoy rugged outdoor adventures. There are indigenous spiritual sites, trout & bass fishing, quartzite cliffs, clear waters, white & red pine forests. Bear Island on Lake Temagami, is home to 244 Temagami First Nations. 🛶🎣🪶
When I resided with my grandparents for a year near Temagami, Ontario, I loved seeing the beautiful lakes. From Lake Temagami, Blueberry Lake, Wolf Lake, Diamond Lake, Kokoko Lake, Obabika Lake, Rabbit Lake, etc. My grandfather obtained our drinking water from Net Lake. Canoeing 🛶 is prevalent.
A James Faubert piece. I love Indigenous works of art. My cousin, Nicole owns this print. 🛶
Remember when taking pictures of your kids or of others - turn the camera around and include yourself. Too often, as parents we’re not in the photos or videos during those special moments. Hand the camera:cellphone to someone else and include yourself with your family or with loved ones. No excuses.
That’s cool! Even if you move to other cities, Ottawa still gives a person a sense of pride that you worked there.
Photo of our Nation’s Capital city, Ottawa, Ontario, Canada 🇨🇦 I’ve resided in this city twice. So many sights to see with the historic buildings, the Ottawa River, the Rideau Canal & Parliament Hill. When I worked for Revenue Canada, the location was at the Connaught Building, also downtown. 🇨🇦
🍁🍃Autumn is slowly starting with Fall leaves showing their colourful splendour in Northern Ontario. A photo of some red maple leaves on my walk today. 🍁🍂
It’s always so rewarding when a person sends a thank you. 🙏
Spent the afternoon at the beach, chatting with my daughter. The lifeguards and kids are back in school & so we had a quiet time of reflection other than the noisy curious seagulls who would drop by. Ramsey Lake, Northern Ontario.
Thank you. It is peaceful. Thank goodness. ☮️
So then, my hubby tried his expertise at video recording & took this video of our daughter, Chanelle (vocals) with her son, Hendrix (shaker)& also Fabio (drums) & Parker (guitar) to entertain some elderly folks at a retirement home. Northern Ontario, Canada. Sept. 7, 2025
So then our grandson wanted another horse-drawn wagon ride and then to be with his Mom this time. Location in Northern Ontario - with horses from Wagon Wheel Ranch, Greater Sudbury, Ontario. 🚜🚜
It was rainy ☔️then sunny 😎 & then back to a rainy day 🌦️yesterday but it didn’t stop my hubby & grandson to go for a wagon ride in Sudbury, Ontario. 🐴🐴
