I'm a landscape/wildlife/nature photographer living in the Pacific Northwest. If it's outdoors, in the woods, in the mountains, or on the coast ... I'll probably photograph it! https://www.youtube.com/@joanmartelli8127

It's mushroom season! Tiny mushrooms in a forest in western Oregon. The tall 'shroom has an even more tiny insect visitor.

Thanks so much! He was a fun bear to watch ... lots of antics!

I set up my camera for Milky Way photos last night, and programed it to take one photo every 15 seconds. In the morning, it presented me with 766 photos taken over a 4 1/2 hour period, which I made into this short time lapse.

Thank you! The Olympus OM-1 Mark II camera is great for macro.
Thanks! It was a lucky find ... it only emerged from the foliage of the flower when I was watering. So tiny!
I found a tiny katydid nymph covered with water droplets in the garden a few days ago.

They can be little tyrants ... but definitely cute!
Dark skies made it a good week for stargazing. This photo of the Milky Way was taken on 7/22 from our back porch.
