🧵 1/8 - Hi! I'm a queer epic fantasy author, writer of the Noss Saga. Other than writing and illustrating my novels, I do a lot of other art, including cinematography at Disney animation (Zootopia, Frozen, Moana, etc). Follow this pinned thread to see the kinds of work I do.

I like a blend personally. Five fingers, but with pads (or mini hooves), but with chonkier proportions to approximate the paws. In the saga the anthro forms are a bridge between two kinds, so they should serve their purpose and not be needlessly cumbersome, so you won't get a one-fingered horse.

It's not ready to be ordered yet, sorry! I'm literally supposed to get my proof print today (waiting anxiously for the mail), and if it looks good I can approve it and submit it for distribution, but it might not show up in any systems for about a week or so for bookstores to order it.

Thanks! And it always throws me off when friends change their PFPs and I'm like "who the fuck are you why are you showing up on my timeline" so it's better this way.

Time to update my PFP! That photo I've been using was taken by @dahlumii.bsky.social in 2016, and now that I have my hair buzzed (and some gray in the beard) it needed changed. But I didn't wanna lose the iconic red BG, so I magically inserted new me into the photo like I did once with the mask.

Three photos of my head against a red backdrop, one is the original from 2016 (with lots of hair), the next one is a photoshopped version I did in 2023 where I added the canid mask to it, and the bigger version below is from 2025 with my hair all buzzed.
