Week 07: Had to take a step back to polish up Assignment 2, but I really enjoyed animating this simple movement. It's been years since I've touched character animation!!
Week 06: Fell down a ShotDeck rabbit hole this week. What a goldmine for anyone building a visual mood or cinematic look! Using it to shape the tone and get inspiration for my Epic Door project.
Week 05: Working on a cinematic Unreal Engine project called “Backdoor.” A lone cowboy stumbles on an old outhouse in the desert… but it’s not what it seems. Rust, gears, and forgotten tech... opening the door might just open something much bigger.
Was working on some vegetation last night. The grass looks good near the camera, but at a distance it starts popping and turning blocky. Need to dig into what’s causing it.
Week 03 This week, I’m really noticing how crucial computer power is in game design. Switched from my desktop to laptop to finish the project while on the go. I’m happy with how the cave design is shaping up, though the campfire might be a little too intense for s’mores. 😅
Week 02 Turns out my dream castle was doomed from the start (should’ve checked FAB before blocking it out 😅). So… I’ve abandoned my child and pivoted to a cave. Currently gathering assets to build the entrance. Dark & mysterious vibes incoming!
Kicking off the roughing-out phase for my Set Dressing assignment this week! It’s a little weird bouncing between Blender/Unity ➡️ Maya/Unreal, but I’m excited to finally start learning UE5. (CrashLanding)
