I was talking to a friend who sees a lot of movies and whom I think of as generally culturally aware, and she mentioned she hadn't seen "the new Leo DiCaprio movie" yet. I said I was surprised that she didn't call it the "the new PTA movie," and she said, "Yeah, remind me what else he's done?"

I am not easily surprised by clips of Trump speaking, but I'm not sure I've heard that low, gravelly tone from him. Maybe as a momentary thing, but not so constantly.
