It’s wild to me that Disney+ is still going through with a price increase after the Kimmel incident. Many canceled in the wake of that and have yet to resubscribe, myself included.

In Canada it’ll go up by as much as $3 per month! Wild & unaffordable during these times from a behemoth like Disney

Yeah this is fair. Long games are time-consuming and sometimes you just want to finish it rather than do another 50-150 hours.

I have a Baldurs Gate 3 file that’s been sitting over a year that’s near the end. I’ll have to jump back in, there’s no way I’m restarting that.

One thing I find with platformers even Nintendo and being away for a while is that they have a natural incline and build. And jumping back in after being away a while can be rough without having the earlier stuff fresh. Unless it’s one I’m familiar with.

Question for the gamers. When you leave off in a game and come back months or years later, what is the length of time that you consider just making a new file and starting over?

Think it’s about a year for me. If I haven’t played the game in a year, I’ve forgotten a lot of it.
