Coincidentally, have you ever heard Kevin Max's solo record on Northern Records? Very good. At least, I think it was good back then (2003? 4?). Not sure if it's held up.

Haha. I didn’t know about the Further one. I I know Innocence Mission did a lullaby album (I think) but yeah, never heard of someone doing their own conga reworked this way. SF59 innovates yet again. Wouldn’t have guessed it in 1995.

I’m working on a “video” for the first “single” of the new record. I SO wish I could animate, or I had the $ to pay someone to animate. Instead, it’s a slow but steady collection of odd slide stacks, collected video, and whatnot. I so want to use an AI video I made,but also want to keep it 100% me.

You know, I’ve never heard of any other band doing anything like this. It seems completely unique. What a lovely record and idea. Do you know of anyone else who has ever attempted this?

When I was doing Christian alternative radio in the 90's and 2000's, we didn't quite know what to do with Roadside. We had a few songs in late-night rotation. At the time, I never "got" them but now that I'm older, I know I really missed out.
