Very good. A little disappointing that Akechi doesn't show up but otherwise delightful. Another one of these films I've watched full of unusual sexual encounters and then some horrific deaths at the end. Curious how that went down in the porno theatres

Trying one of the better known Nikkatsu Roman Porno films. Watcher in the Attic (1976, Noboru Tanaka). The short story is a fun one and I loved A Woman Called Sada Abe from the same director and star - Junko Miyashita.

Pacing around the house and feeling like my guts are going to come out of my eye sockets because of how delicious this horror is. It's a good job I don't go to the cinema and watch almost everything alone. Pausing films to stare at the walls because the beauty is too much. I blame the autism.

On a personal note I've got a strong feeling that if I'd been mentally unstable as the AI push began I would have ended up in a position something like this. If I was alone with psychosis, if I started chugging cough medicine and other things again. I'd get totally AI brained and rot

I didn't read any of Morrison's work until I was 29 at the earliest probably 30 so the love for it is still fresh. This is the kind of justification for using AI I would expect from them tbh. Lot of interesting, fun and strange ideas in their writing but not the brightest person around
