The best book 📚 I have recommended frequently to young people (and their families). The DNA-V model is based on evidence based Contextual Behavioural Science. The exercises are immediately effective and the illustrations are wonderful. Start here and Move towards What Matters using your talents.

👋 Hi. Thanks - I will have a listen! Usually, I found new artists annually when I was working with Fairbridge Festival. But not these past two years due to the devastating cancellation after covid$$$ Our Festival will return, growing from grass roots and hopefully inviting uk folk artists one day

Is the Safety House Scheme still operating in Western Australia? New school and new build area community capacity building for a year and a half. Around 40% of migrating kiddos enrolled came and went within a year as parents sought opportunities.

Looking forward to reading this Stu. My dad had an alcoholic stepfather who regularly beat his mother up. Somehow, he didn't smash his head in with an alarm clock to protect her [so he informed the very young me] but fought his way up and out of Fallowfield to working for the Ministry of Defense.

I'm not sure about all the details re AUKUS. But I expect the Council won't have much say whatsoever. She will absolutely do her very best. She is an Accountant by profession- and has stood up to bullying in Council. Eg. Alcohol no longer purchased for Council meetings (it was a boys club!)

Do! Lots of very interesting and passionate people. They had a fabulous Community Garden and Chickens. There used to be reptile house and Long neck 🐢 Recovery program. Links with Murdoch scientists- Ive helped at the biannual Environment Fair before. Much better to be around proactive folks 🌼

Poems with music. Like folk songs. Or songs for Folk.

Good to listen to today whilst Spring Cleaning. Maintenance of machines and household equipment may seem boring, but like upcycling and growing veggies- is a very good use of Time. It's a good job Quirky folk do things Differently.

My mum was on the Board at Naragebup Environment Centre for years. She is 77 now! There ARE good folks. It takes everyone doing something practical together to not get disheartened. My mum's friends have been working tirelessly for decades... go and see them ❤️

I've known the candidate for Mayor, current Councillor Lorna Buchanan, for about 10 years. She is very proactive personally and with her daughter, attending many of the grassroots campaigns for Point Peron and supporting the protection of the penguins. She is honest and will do a very good job.

We have an Atto 3 powered by solar and recently installed Battery. Built a high eco rating, universal design 4 x2 house on 350 block in East V Pk. Major reduction in electricity bill. It IS doable. Solar and a shared battery could be mandatory on new build medium density units etc. Willpower...

👋 hi. Yes - some people seem to have no concern to preserve this truly unique area of bird and animal life. Selfish.
Thank goodness the proposed Marina was successfully opposed. But I wonder how many years before the Penguins are gone. Needs proactive government action.

On this day in 2018 - a pair of DRS Class 68s drag a nuclear waste flask through Stourbridge junction in the West Midlands UK. Possibly the best sounding engines of the current crop - you can hear them coming for miles! - 12-10-18 #railways #trains #railphotography #trainphotography #photography
