The main point of the job is to be the extrajudicial boogeymen that keep the rest of the Guild's rank and file in line so while they may be good hunters I don't think they're *necessarily* good people

To add: I think when the Guild selects who's going to be knighted that a capacity for violence and either a willingness to follow orders or the opportunity to be coerced into compliance probably weighs on the process *at least* as heavily as prowess demonstrated on the hunt.

I think while individual members themselves have a variety of goals and alignments I find the Hunter's Guild itself most interesting as a sort of neutral evil, entirely self-interested political body. They're the 500 lb Gorilla in the room of world diplomacy

Food. Sooo much food. He's always been a bit of a bottomless pit and having been abruptly introduced to village life as something that was only about a half step removed from a feral animal, things played out exactly how you would expect them to.

Seen this attack crush more dreams than the industrial revolution and it's piss easy to offset so here's the protip; When he coils himself up, use his arms as an indicator of when he's gonna go. He'll coil a bit more tightly, hold that for a split second, then release. Time your offset using that.
