J'espérais faire mieux sur la queue en prenant un grand angle mais le ciel était trop brumeux.
Chanceux d'avoir pour l'avoir nette sur 40 raw, après avoir veillé 1h à la voir traverser les nuages 😅

je suis content d'avoir pu la prendre un soir déjà . Entre l'horizon et la météo à chaque fois je me retrouve sans pouvoir les prendre en photos.

Mais j'aimerai bien pouvoir la reprendre avec un meilleur ciel aussi.

The North America, Pelican and gulf of Mexico (yep, not the "gulf of America" 😇) nebulae to which I added SII subs last night from my backyard. SHO is an unusual #Astrophotography 🔭📷 palette but I do like it.
I'm pretty sure @kat-astro-bot.bsky.social will solve this one in a breeze.

On dirait que la plus grande focale aide bien à avoir plus de détails juste après le noyau au niveau de la queue

Choqué d'avoir une netteté à ce point avec uniquement 15s unitaire.
Après les 130mm d'ouverture ça doit aider 😁.
Il faudrait vraiment que je pense à passer en faible gain pour ce type d'astre si c'est ce qui fait la différence.

Lemmon juice being squeezed out of the comet C/2025 A6 #astrophotography. Shot this evening but it's really low so it is tough to even think about getting this one done in RGB.

Après il faut dire que le pélican aide à sublimer la zone 😄.
Mais c'était un choix cette année d'isoler le wall et avoir un cluster de l'araignée.

J'aime bien tes contrastes sur les noirs et les détails. Si je tirets trop je crois bien que j'avais trop de bruit (pas assez de sessions malheureusement).

Just fyi, my results was with a 400mm/72mm f5.6 scope.
It's maybe different with a bigger focal like your C8 :)
I know it's little diff about background sky and seeing sometimes

Yes, me too. Lights from Paris.
This time the comet is at the opposite so I tried directly without.
In any case I saw that capturing the tail, using no filter was better even if I had light pollution ;)

Oh nice, I didn't know the result could be great with the L-Pro filter too.
On the past comets, I had sad result with the coma/tail. Better result in native RGB.
Maybe I should retry on Lemmon :)
