"hype moments and aura" is how people are describing "spectacle" in a meme-ish way now.

Unlike most slang, it is longer and more unwieldly than simply saying "spectacle alone does not make for good writing". It's like trope-ifying a term that already nails the criticism you're trying to say.

Zaslav has reported that he expects the new Harry Potter series to run for 10 years. Disinterest can end an IP this big. The Fantastic Beasts franchise was killed by critical and commercial failure. So please, don't even hate-watch the show. And spread awareness on The Author's transphobia.
