When the system feels absurd, absurdity becomes the protest language.

It’s political theater at its smartest: disarming, hilarious, and impossible to ignore. They can’t accuse you of being violent when you’re literally a 7-foot broccoli yelling about democracy.

Trump’s shutdown just wiped out the federal special ed office.
Nearly everyone overseeing IDEA, the law protecting students w/disabilities, laid off.

That office enforces the law making sure every child with a disability gets a fair education.
Now it’s gone.

Dismantling government from the inside.

They aren't hard to spot when you watch them with their bills in committee or on the floor. Bible verses, prayers, tears - it's quite a performance. In 2026, Oklahomans had better wake up and pay attention to our state legislators. We need a team of folks ready to fight back when session begins.

I think she sees what’s about to happen to her constituents when those ACA credits expire. I’m still not sure her motives are genuine, but at least she’s acknowledging it.

The fact this is not top story being played everywhere shows how far we’ve already fallen. Children being torn from their beds in the middle of the night should be dominating every headline - but silence is exactly how people let things happen. History shows us where this leads when we look away.
