We were in #LA last week and #Ohtanijerseys (MLB’s best selling) were everywhere and this mural dominated the downtown skies above #LittleTokyo. As a #NorCal girl I was raised to see the Dodgers as the enemy but these 3 were a joy to watch.m

Many are comparing #Ohtani to Babe Ruth although his pitching matches his hitting.

100,000+ of #AlamedaCounty residents are estimated to be #undocumented. In #Oakland it is estimated to be 10% or 45K+.
Today Sat, November 1, 2pm, community groups are holding a Town Hall at FREMONT HIGH AUDITORIUM, 4610 Foothill Blvd to discuss what we can do to protect our city.

With federal & tech #layoffs, the #AlamedaCountyCommunityFoodBank was gearing up for increased need. But now 175,000 #SNAP / #CalFresh recipients in our county will have benefits cut off by Trump Saturday. We make donations to #ACCFB at #Thanksgiving This year we’re giving early & more. accfb.org

The highest concentrations of #California’s 5.5 million #SNAP / #CalFresh recipients are in rural areas, many represented by Republicans. Not only will payments be halted during the shutdown, BUT Trump’s #2026Budget cut #foodstamps by $1 billion or 20%.
