Utah has a 2-3 record at home when ESPN “College GameDay” is in SLC (and 2-6 all-time with the show). But more important than that record, Utah is looking to break through in a tough game.

Catholic Community Services in Ogden is urgently requesting food and monetary donations as 86,000 Utah families face the loss of SNAP benefits due to the government shutdown.

Whenever people complain about the number of folks relying on food stamps, it is worth reminding them that SNAP is, by too large of a degree, a subsidy for corporations that refuse to pay a living wage and their political allies who reject public policy prescriptions to reduce income inequality.
