So, in reality, daddy bear's porridge would indeed be the too hot, and baby bear's porridge being too cold, leaving mummy bear's porridge as being 'just right'.

This is not what the fairy tale tells us.

Larger bowls retain heat longer because they have greater thermal mass and a lower surface area to volume ratio.
jcvstephenson.bsky.social
According to the laws of thermodynamics, this cannot possibly be the case.
Heat loss happens through conduction, convection, and radiation.
Smaller bowls have a higher surface area relative to volume, and so lose heat faster.

She first tries the biggest bowl, which is too hot. She then tries the middle-sized bowl, which is too cold.
And then the smallest bowl which is 'just right'.

The whole tale hangs around things being 'just right' first Goldilocks. This starts with the eating of porridge.
The story recants that Goldilocks, in a state of abject malnutrition, cannot stop herself from eating the porridge which has been left to cool in bowls on the table...

Been out with the hound for a walk, and my mind wandered, as it often does while walking with the dog. And I have come to the conclusion that the fairy tale, 'Goldilocks and the Three Bears', is utter bollocks.

Here is my main argument for this...🧵

Because only rich people need bonuses to make them work harder, while those on low incomes need to be threatened with less money.

The change is a relaxation of rules that were brought in after the 2008 financial crash.

This mysterious £30bn 'black hole' could be immediately solved by changing what the Labour government is calling it.
Call it a £30bn stimulus package, and suddenly Labour are heroes again!
Instead? More taxes, spending cuts...etc...etc...etc.

This is a picture taken of my youngest daughter, who was 10 at the time, during the 'Beast from the East' on 28th February, 2018, on my Samsung phone.

It remains the most beautiful image I have ever captured.

Just a reminder that Boris Johnson was born in New York, and so when people talk about foreign born people having a detrimental effect on the country, we should look no further than him.
Also, I'm all for parts of Britain not having English as the main language: Welsh, Gaelic, Scots, Doric, Cornish.

Tim Stanley, "Is there a certain point in Britain where the number of foreign born is so great, that the country ceases to be Britain any more?"

Boris Johnson, "Parts of London where the Bangladeshi community, second or third generation were not speaking English"

*This is a lie*

It's almost as if, while Labour try to emulate Reform, the people who traditionally voted Labour - I think they are called soshulists, or something - disapprove, mainly because they are left-wing, rather than right-wing.

I'm not sure how Labour hasn't worked this out yet.

The Portland Frog army has now infiltrated Tulsa, OK and they’ve made an unlikely alliance with the T-Rex infantry and Sharks on Hoverboards mercenary forces.

This is truly terrifying.

Assuming the ceasefire holds, that there is no expansion into the West Bank, and that when international agencies and journalists get access to Gaza, there are no war crimes to report.
Seems a bit of a tall order.

Labour MPs reckon that if the ceasefire holds it will be harder for opponents to mobilize against them over the Israel-Palestine issue in the next election. There are concerns though about whether the fragile agreement will hold. More in London Playbook PM.

A Key West woman painted a piece of her fence in rainbow colors.

Two weeks later, a neighbor complained to the city’s code department that the colors aren’t permitted in the historic district.

The 12 painted slats had to go.
