I'll be running as the progressive choice in the Democratic primary for the US Senate seat in Virginia in 2026. I'd love to have your support. https://www.jasonreynoldsforsenate.com/

If you can't make it on the 4th, Virginia early voting runs through Nov 1. You also have until Oct 24 to apply for a mail in ballot.
However you do it, please make sure you vote.
Three weeks away!
OK, Virginia. We're just four weeks away from the 2025 election for the House of Delegates. Here are the four candidates for Districts 57, 58, 59 and 60:
☑️May Nivar (57)
☑️Rodney Willett (58)
☑️Scott Konopasek (59)
☑️Andrew Ward (60)
Make sure you're registered and make a plan to vote on Nov. 4!
@heathermassey.com I'm always happy to talk if you ever want more details.
@rbreich.bsky.social gets it and so do I. It's time to elect candidates who want more than just business as usual. We need people in office that understand the current system isn't working and hasn't been for a while.
Medicare for all, paid leave, universal childcare.

Busting up big corporations and tackling Wall Street’s greed.

Getting big money out of politics.

Supporting unions and fighting for higher wages.

If Dems want to win back working people, this is the agenda they must support.
Just checked my registration last week. Please go check yours here vote.elections.virginia.gov/VoterInforma... and then make sure you vote in November (or sooner).
I totally agree we need comprehensive campaign finance reform. I don't think there's any reason to take money from folks like Musk or Thiel though. There are plenty of less evil options for corporate Dems to accept funds from if they have to.
Anyone that accepts this money needs to be primaried. Corporate money should be banned from politics and any Dems that would take money from Musk or Thiel are proving they're only in it for the money or the power, not to represent the people.
"Invariant, the highest-paid lobbying firm for both Elon Musk’s SpaceX and the Peter Thiel co-founded Palantir, has now bundled nearly $4 million to the [Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee] since the beginning of the year."

Dems Double Down on Fundraising From SpaceX and Palantir Lobbyists
Senate Democrats have joined their House counterparts in fundraising from the top lobbying firm for the Trump and Musk-tied companies.

Thank you very much. I appreciate the support.
It's gotten ridiculous. The emails go directly to the trash and the texts get deleted without being read. I don't care if it's the day before your "deadline", you're doing a 5x match, or someone's crying with joy (or anger).
If there's a candidate I like, I go directly to their site and donate.
It would be nice if he shared that with us. I'd love to know why he thinks enabling genocide makes anyone safer.
I'm all for a tax on corporate held residential property. And an even higher tax on any of that property being held empty as an investment.
I can get behind that. Everyone should make enough to thrive, not just survive.
@kaine.senate.gov supported the resolutions to block some arms sales to Israel. @markwarner.bsky.social opposed the resolutions.
Hopefully they both vote to end our support of the genocide next time the opportunity comes around.
@markwarner.bsky.social is appalled at the conditions in Gaza but won't vote to stop providing Israel the weapons that have caused the crisis. I guess it never occurred to him that one leads to the other.
I am proudly AIPAC free and would not accept their money if they ever offered it. It's past time Israel ended the genocide in Palestine, and we stopped enabling it.
Thanks. I appreciate the support and agree that we need to be supporting progressives everywhere they're running. And encouraging progressives everywhere they aren't running yet.
Pretty good turnout for a Thursday in the 90s.
I hope everyone else was able to get out and cause some good trouble today.

I agree. Housing should be a basic right, not a privilege and 'landlord' should not be a career.
Happy 4th of July even if it feels more like a wake than a birthday. If you're feeling down, make sure you connect with your family, friends, and community to remind each other there's still good out there. We're still resisting and we're not going anywhere.
In most states it's easier than you think to run in the primary. If you're able, look into it. Or encourage someone you could support to look into it. Your Secretary of State usually has the information on their site.
