When covid and work-from-home hit, I made it a point to mostly give up streaming and go back and listen to *all* my CDs and rediscovered so much. Now, for the last couple of months I put a turntable in my office and doing the same with vinyl. Also fun & it makes me get out of the chair more often.

My various feeds are filled with posts from libraries, pet shelters, rec centers, and regular old people about services they are preparing to offer when SNAP runs out.

It’s inspiring that there are good people out there who care and want to help.

It’s infuriating that our “leaders” are useless.
