Tomorrow on the BrickBuilders Raid Train on Twitch… I will be continuing my LEGO MOC but we will be starting the train a little late due to work commitments… sounds like I’m role playing as actual British transport… it will happen but it will be late lol

One thing creators do not do over everything is value their spaces. If you a content creator, a LEGO MOC maker, a painter, a gymnast etc a clean organised space that can help organise the brain frees up space for creativity to flow. This is why over streaming today it was way more important to clean

I’d like to stream more… I wanna expand the types of content I make… but also the balance of working full time and having time for my partner with fitting in content is difficult. It’s a long process… a slow one… but ultimately it is and will be rewarding!

There are some creators like that in LEGO and I see that a lot at shows (I also see bad but not here for that) so why don’t I see ANY positivity about anything in the MTG world? Even the biggest creators are just making content based on what forums say. you can tell as there’s no opposing opinions!

The rise of the Pokémon recent boom has actually accelerated way more positive type creators than hype beast ones.. I’m thinking coop and bearded dad etc who are sellers and collectors but understand it’s just cardboard…

and it’s not like WOTC/Hasbro are making sets super expensive or putting IP costs into these etc like you see in LEGO with a recent $1000 set… MTG is priced the same for players (collectors are a seperate sub thing and have their own products and different third markets)

I really don’t understand the hate! The community online (taken with a huge lump of salt) also seem just so gross about new people and the IP sets that bring them in… I see reflections of this in the LEGO world I’m in but not to this extent…

I even got a prerelease event set (I was suppose to attend an actual event but GF got sick). Loved opening up all the packs and having the fun die and playing a prerelease format was fun!

I have never been so hyped for a theme like Spider-Man tho before… and it’s really confusing to me why it’s hated so much… it’s the same game… it fits in to all your laws about the game… the creators made it so it works right…
