Good vibes only. Not here to debate, just here for fun.

The Fold is one of my all-time favorite books. I would love to see that on the screen. I was obsessed with the premise of that book for a long, long time after I finished it (no spoilers - just go read it so you too can be obsessed, folks).
It happened again. Not thrilled that I keep being too late to take advantage of this peace. I feel like Charlie Brown with the football.
I don't need this many books.
Got this fortune with my lunch today. It's Thursday. I guess I missed my chance at peace by one day. Also when did fortune cookies get day-of-week specific?
I enjoy the behind-the-scenes stuff you post about the publishing industry. I've learned a lot.
Did I just slip into an alternate universe? Because there's a different guy in the Trivago commercial. It was an older guy in the first commercial break. Now it's a totally different guy. Same commercial otherwise.
Where's Dolly Parton's #NobelPrize, Norway?
Watching my all-time favorite episode of any show ever made: The Nightman Cometh (It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia).
Never stop trying new things. I was in my 30s when I found my "perfect" career. I was in my 50s when I found something even better. If I hadn't tried it, I wouldn't know how perfect it was for me at this point in my life.
It's a beautiful day in Ohio. Good day to buy some apples. Mr. Blue Sky was playing while I was checking out, and I may have been quietly singing along. What a great day!
I read The Shining while in 8th grade. First horror novel. Went on to read every horror novel I could get my hands on. Something in horror speaks to me like no other genre. What a shame if other kids don't get to find the thing that speaks to them.
Absolutely no one I know was #raptured this week.i guess I need a better class of friends. Or maybe I'm the one pulling down the group.
Happy 11th birthday to my dog Buddy. When I brought him home he weighed 2 lbs and was covered in fleas. Today he is thriving, keeping the yard squirrel-free, and giving cuddles when needed. Happy Birthday, Buddy!
Nothing. It has to do with good old days
I miss the days when people couldn't reach me 24/7. Pre-answering machine, you'd just have to hope to catch me at home. But in those days I also got paid half what my male coworkers made, so good old days were only good for some things and some people. Not so great for women, LGBTQ, people of color
Slightly diminish a book

The Grapes of Welch's
Oh man, this one hit me hard. I listened to Breakfast in America hundreds of times during a tough summer when I was growing up. It got me through.
This is not OK. Our children are paying the price for our inaction. Thoughts & prayers don't do shit for someone who just lost the most important person in their world. I said when I joined Bluesky that I wasn't going to argue politics, but dammit, this is not OK.
When I was 6 my top worry was whether my Mom was serving one of the "gross" veggies for dinner (basically anything that wasn't potato based). Not keeping my head low enough to not get shot.
She scolded me for not having a lock down plan. What if someone comes through the door? What if they come in the window. I told her that's not gonna happen at my house and she looked at me like I was an idiot. This is what our kids have to deal with now.
My 6 year old granddaughter asked me last night where we go if there is a lock down when she is at my house. Then she told me about the lock down drill her first grade class had that day, including how you have to keep your head below the barrier so the gunman can't shoot you in the head.
How much is people's belief that #crime is up in big cities a result of all the "Law & Order" type of shows on TV. Watching those shows you would think there's a serial killer on every corner, which is not reality.
One thing we've learned from the Cracker Barrel logo fiasco is that we can add it to the list of places MAGAs hang out & avoid it. Actually...I think we already knew that.
The person on the original logo is a non-binary artist who makes art from recycled barrels. They are also vegan and donate to womens health charities. They support a legal path to citizenship and releasing the Epstein files. So glad they are staying on the logo.
Yes! I loved this book and both sequels. Such fun reads!
