- Oye, Teddy, ¿Te puedes mover para que mueva tu cama?
- No puedo, estoy muerto.
I don't know how to explain this to some people, but a person who orders the extrajudicial executions of dozens of people by seemingly randomly blowing up boats in the Caribbean DOES NOT DESERVE SOMETHING CALLED 'PEACE' PRIZE.
I'm sure God himself sometimes experiences the exact same thing!
I have vivid memories of reading her book 'Putin's Russia' when I was in college. She was ahead of her time and brutal in her assessment of what was and what was to come in Russia. Such a horrifying loss...

It's been 19 years: "A journalist renowned for her critical coverage of the Chechen-Russian conflict, Politkovskaya was found dead in her apartment building in Moscow." According to police, she "was shot, and a pistol and four bullet casings were recovered."

Teddy has been with us for about ten days now, so good moment to start #DailyTeddy. The little guy is adapting well to his new environment.
If you're desperately asking yourself what the point of all this cruelty is: the cruelty *is* the point.

That's what authoritarians do. They're cruel, they act cruelly -for no other reason than that they *can*.
The use of genuine mink fur in clothes is frowned upon nowadays, I think.
What probably bothers me most about the AI hausse, is that these developers are using consumers as guinea pigs for technology that will ultimately be developed for (cyber) warfare. And that we, as consumers, appear to be fully on board with that.

NEW & DANGEROUS ⚡Journalist Mario Guevara initially arrested because he was live streaming law enforcement activity in Atlanta, will be deported to his native El Salvador this Friday. I repeat: Live coverage of newsworthy events is a daily undertaking by journalists. 👇

We welcomed a new member of our family: Teddy. Like Cole, he's a rescue. His initial caretakers found him at their front door with a very nasty wound on his neck - probably the result of an attack by a much bigger dog. Teddy is around 3 years old (older than we thought) and a very happy little dog.
To be clear: any 'peace' proposal that doesn't provide a road map towards the sovereignty of the Palestinian people is not a real and serious peace proposal, but an excuse to continue this horrifying war.
Notice how none of these people ever provide any details about *HOW* 'literally every' (LITERALLY EVERY?) job is going to change?

*Whispers* It's because they have no idea, but they just throwing billions at AI development and they're starting to worry it may not pay off.
Just to be clear: by 'end' I mean him losing all his power and money and hopefully spending a long time in jail, followed by a bitter wasting away in as a powerless, irrelevant nobody.
The fall of Putin's regime will be satisfying to watch, but Dmitri Medvedev's end will be particularly enjoyable.

We shouldn't even dignify them with attention.
Who is even saying this? I haven't heard anyone describing Bluesky as 'empty' or that 'no one is here'. And nothing about Bluesky suggests anything other than that it's growing.

This sounds like an artificially created non-issue.
