Dick Cheney is dead. He's the last politician to fool me. I mistook him for a normal unscrupulous business tycoon (he picked HIMSELF for VP) until 9/11, when he emerged a deluded, warmongering neocon. Failure to hold those idiots accountable laid some of the groundwork for Trump. Good riddance.

The underlying fundamental economics have changed dramatically: solar is now so cheap that businesses and households all around the world install it often without subsidies. Throw in batteries and the business case just keeps improving.

That’s a lot of firepower to stop small vessels carrying drugs.

It took me 5 minutes of research to discover that according to the DEA data, 0% of fentanyl originates from Venezuela. Seems relevant. Have you considered doing research in the course of reporting? It's quite effective. 🙄
