There’s this little restaurant in Palermo where I once had a dessert based on that idea — plain milk ice cream, cookie crumbs, and little bits of anchovies. Mind blowing
“pane burro e alici” is a trusted snack for children and grownups in Italy (southern Europe?) since who knows how long
So this aged quickly and not very well…
