Okay, I think it's my first post. I just want to tell you that some TF2 War Paint creators made an open letter to Valve to provide more communication between them and possibly more freedom and streamlined process of making WPs and skins. If you missed that I will send links to resources below.

An Open Letter from community to Valve containing complains about low amount of feedback, lackluster implementation of their works in game and clunky tools for making War Paints. It also proposed to make standardization process with in-game importer, integrate code modification for War Paints to provide extra effects on them and add categorization for UV-specific WPs that changes per weapons and release guide how to pack Workshop submissions for sake of fast, simple and no waste implementation.

Yeah, they made it clear. Clear that if you post something spicier than vanilla - you're at risk to be banned. If you meant to be decentralized - let people police bad actors themselves with clear examples of inappropriate behavior and let artists proper tag system instead of #bskycensorship
