Is it about A Love Too Captivating? In this case there's also a TV anime special which adapted a couple of chapters so I guess that could explain a certain number of eager awaiting folk. But "eagerly awaited" is still an exaggeration for titles like that 🤭

Karaoke Iko! anime: I never knew I needed to hear a song by X-Japan (and Kenshi Yonezu as well) sung out of tune. But I did and it was hilarious. Highly unpopular opinion: I enjoy anime adaptation more than the original manga in this case. At least so far. And it's not typical for me

I've always wanted to read workplace manga with this topic but I only come across it being mentioned as a profession. Life in Smokey Blue comes to mind (doesn't delve into translation process too much but is amazing regardless!) and I got curious about Tokyo Salad Bowl but it's not licensed ☹️

I had a bit of an issue with the character of Yeonu, but Gyu-yeong was the one I was very invested in, his struggles felt genuine, I could totally get what troubled him. Sweet story and I'm glad the characters didn't give up at any point

Yes! From the synopsis I knew there's going to be illness-related drama but I thought the main heroine might've at least had a happy life prior to it. Nope. And the actual inner pain the woman had to endure throughout genuinely made me cry

It's visceral, raw and at the same time incredibly artistic. I'm hesitant about its 2nd half and ending and have doubts that I'll ever reread it, but Moto Hagio is deservedly a legend for creating #manga like that

I mean... she certainly delivered on that promise. I've read deep psychologically disturbing manga before, but this one's on another level. Its exploration of abuse and effect it has on a person left me speechless. It goes deep under your skin and stays there, gnawing, troubling >>

J'ai aimé Au creux de nos mains, c'est une histoire qui m'a touché dans une autre langue mais je suppose que j'aime le style de cette mangaka. Et je suis très excité à propos de Qui a vu le paon danser?, le synopsis et les premiers chapitres étaient très intrigants
