I'm often obnoxious about Philadelphia exceptionalism, and I'm not alone, but one thing we ARE going to do is support our siblings fighting the good fight in unfairly occupied cities and show love and solidarity to our friends and family defending and repping the communities that need it most. ❤️

Tried to explain to someone yesterday how I occasionally justify enjoying [problematic show] and a little bit of other controversial media because I work in the nonprofit sector and I'm turning out net good, mission-based results. It's like carbon offsetting for ethics.

Love a good reading that confirms that while everything is currently a nightmare, finding my people, relaxing a bit, and trusting intuition as I travel are the ways out. Confirmation bias at its best tbh.
