This series met with my Wife's approval as well, I pitched it as Animal Crossing Noir. That mix of cute designs & creeping dread about what our Walrus cabbie has gotten himself into is great.

The Dub with Morgan Lauré as Scarlet has been great. Hearing her as Scarlet and also Kisharle in the Campfire Cooking in Another World Dub has been fun, very different personalities there.

I liked Fatal Fury: The Motion Picture. I just never imagined that it was something folks at some point thought was worthy of flexing about on the cover of another motion picture.

Guess more folks liked it than I thought at the time.

The group dynamic makes it interesting to consider, my gut says I'd almost want to classify it like a slasher/thriller film? Only everybody is a slasher.

I don't handle horror well so my knowledge isn't as in depth, I'm sure there are experts who could trace elements of BR in horror that followed.

I've been a pretty big Tron fan since seeing the first movie as a kid so it's sad to see it struggle. There's a lot of cool stuff that has been and could be done with the franchise.

The way Disney stuffed talent into Tron Uprising, it's unfortunate that it was never really built on.

I did see that there was some partnership with xAI and that weird remote control robot thing that Elon tells everyone is an AI robot for promotion on Ares so I was going to pass on checking it out in theater.

How spoiler-ific is the vid? Not that the plot is likely to be all that full of surprises.

A virus leaves just 10% of humanity & 100% of vampires alive. Desperate times call for giving these angsty teens hungry for revenge some demonic weapons. Lots of feels, ships, biblical monstrosities, plots & betrayal packed in to boot.

The Dub features some great performances too.

Fire Force would be another series to check out if you enjoy this one. Both are pretty striking with their character designs & power based battles. More a look at religious dogma as a means to control a population & as a potential source of corruption.

The local manga cafe here just installed a mini-gunpla capsule machine that you then need to watch the videos to build. I have to limit my kiddo to one pull per visit. I was surprised at how much they manage to pack in those capsules.

I grew up across the river from Cincinnati so I've got a soft spot for Art Deco or in this case, Art Meco?

Union Terminal in Cincinnati, viewed from the steps leading to its front entrance. The main building is comprised of a semi-circular arch and within it a second arch of windows separated by pillars. An analog clock is at the center of the arch towards the top of the windowed arch.

Big O, one of the remaining Megadeus covered mostly in black armor plating with shielded fore arms that protect pistons that drive its punches. The center of its chest is marked by the gilded cockpit and viewing window.

Nura: Rise of the Yokai Clan. Spooky Season Yakuza

It's hard being a kid, harder being a kid in the Yakuza & even harder when it's Yokai Yakuza. Young Rikuo must live a human life & lead an unruly clan of Yokai. With rival clans after him, it's lucky he turns into a bad ass Yokai hottie at night.

Just before you think you're about to run out of castle, make sure that the map is reporting as close to 100% exploration as possible. This includes bumping your head on walls etc.

I think the Dub/ReDub didn't do it any favors, like Eva folks like the one they like.

I think of that early 2000's style as oddly betwixt & between 'classic' 80s/90s quality & properly HD anime we get now.

Majestic Prince & Fafner in the Azure come to mind for that style too.
