Gesticulating to the beat and spinning multiple glow sticks on lanyards while obstructing attendee flow to the energy drink bar ✅
Allergy warning ⚠️ 🤣
Imagine the sheer “must read” volume of a combo like that. Would be great to capture the spirit of early Ottawa Xpress, which had something for everyone and was formative for me: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ottawa_...

Seriously gotta elevate zine-making again, beyond its status as an obscure and random format (which it is not exclusively).
Instant follow for a great teamup ✅
Pilfering and sacking the reserves of recorded human culture is definitely “bold.” Hustle culture and that move-fast-and-break-things imperative has amplified that. Everyone’s a chancer, and in some groups, being the worst and loudest isn’t just a benchmark, it’s social currency, built on taking.
Nothing hits like old-timey labels…“Scandalous ne’er-do-well!” “Lascivious codswallop!”
(See also the penchant for people to self-mythologize)
For every one of us horrified by this nonsense and the people championing it, more people are eager to debase themselves in accordance because they desperately want to be part of the grift and think they’ll come out on top. (See lives and personal finances ruined by NFT and crypto speculation)
Certainly. Those portrayals of Crown figures are sloppy and unsettling, not only as an affront to truth, but because *how* leaders communicate these things to us says what they think of us: “fuzzy feels are good enough to sustain the rubes,” and many will readily adopt/defend the msging as a cause.
Sorry if my comment wasn’t precise—I was referring to the “regurgitations” of AI, not your analysis. Personal, political, cultural, and scientific truths all play together, and cannot be neatly separated.
These word-salad regurgitations read like a 4th-grade presentation, starting with the most basic subject framing and connecting disparate facts that unravel with cursory analysis. It’s like sitting in a recently painted room—the off-gassing only becomes apparent when the splitting headache sets in.
Technocrats in Canada’s political class have developed god-tier levels of obfuscation. It’s a reflex, a defensive technique, and a cagey way of buying more time to dither while “the outside world” sneaks up to steal our lunch and shove us face first into an open locker.
I have designed countless presentations for people who think going hard on the bafflegab is the only way to win a room so this level of clarity fills me with joy

A plan to plan.
A proposal to propose.
A populist's promise:
No finish. All pose.
