They are receiving full pay and benefits while not at work, meanwhile air traffic controllers and TSA agents are required to work without pay!
Congress should be paid on a per-diem basis, only paid on the days that they are in session working.

While TSA agents and air traffic controllers are required to show up for work WITHOUT receiving a paycheck, Mike Johnson continues to receive a paycheck without working for last three months!

I’m currently paying $650/month for a silver HMO obtained on ACA marketplace. That’s a lot.

But starting in 2026, the same coverage will be about $1200/month! That’s way out of my budget.

And to add insult, the absolute cheapest, bottom-of-the-barrel coverage is $700/month.
