I suppose the Fidias hype is gone, no matter his desperate attempts to sustain it. The idea of more direct representation is not a bad one, certainly not a new one, but not within the apolitical and populist framework of Fidias' lack of political awareness, which will likely favor the extreme right.

I'm getting more mature, if not old. I decided to skip a bike ride due to feeling a bit under the weather. Normally, I would just go on my ride, complete it, and feel awful . That said, Sunshine wants us to go to Jumbo, so having a bit of fever on the bike may have been the better option.

Ετοιμάζομαι να βγω από το σπίτι για μια σύντομη σόλο ποδηλασία στον Μαχαιρά. Είναι από τις μαύρες μέρες που η Sunshine έχει δίκαιο. Είναι όντως υπερβολική η ζέστη και καλό θα ήταν να έμενα σπιτι και να γυμναστώ στο turbo trainer. Δεν θα της το πούμε, εννοείται, και πάμε Μαχαιρά.

Επίρριψη ευθυνών, επιβάλλεται. Ανάληψη, αποκλείεται. Η επιβολή, ανέφικτη. Ζούμε σε καθεστώς εξαίρεσης που δεν είναι ακριβώς δημοκρατικό. Ο Tony Benn έλεγε ότι αν δεν μπορείς να απαντήσεις τις ερωτήσεις "who elected you, and how can we get rid of you?", τότε η δημοκρατία νοσεί.
