In one 9-minute interview with a sergeant accused of raping an inmate, detectives never directly asked him if he had sex with the woman. They didn't ask if he offered to waive a disciplinary write-up in exchange for oral sex. Or if he knew that she was pregnant when she was released bit.ly/4mXnGT3

In summer 2024, 7 women accused Idaho prison workers of sexual misconduct. The allegations spanned decades, took place at various facilities and involved different perpetrators. Our investigation has found:
-At least 59 documented allegations of staff sexually abusing imprisoned women since 2020. It's an undercount.
-37 prison workers accused in the last decade
-Of those, 18 were guards who resigned. 8 were fired.
