Before receiving the Echo's powers, she was only fluent in Vieran/forest speech and had a limited grasp of Hingan and Dalmascan. The realization that she was suddenly fluent in languages she'd never studied came as quite a shock.

True rock bottom had to be the Bloody Banquet into her losing her connection with Hydaelyn and losing Haurchefant. Pre and Post Heavensward was her dealing with loss and learning to reconcile with grief.
