➡️ Some examples include xe/xem/xyr, ey/em/eir, and ae/aer/aer. Neopronouns aren’t a new thing. In the 1880s, Charles Converse coined the pronoun “thon” (a combination of that and one). It was even included in the 1909 Century Dictionary.

Using someone’s pronouns correctly shows that you respect them and their identity. Not using people’s pronouns correctly might make them feel dysphoric or invalidated.

➡️ A Hate Incident can be something such as a verbal insult and can feel like crimes to those who suffer them. These often escalate to crimes or tension in a community over time, and they are equally important to report as hate crimes that pass the threshold of being a criminal offence.
