I've lately been trying to digitise old stuff. I started with family documents (recipes, notes, etc.) and photos and I've now moved to old computer stuff (driver CDs, demos, etc.)

turns out this is a direct result of how the app was initially designed. "All bookmarks" does not mean "everything", it just means "every bookmark in the user's personal collection" and it excludes every shared collection. Huh. OK. I'm not too bothered, as I found a workaround that works so 👌🏻

Trying to get #Copilot to help me pick SD cards for my #Panasonic #FZ1000 4K camera and my #Creative OMNI MP3 speaker resulted in some hilarious exchange.

So, I started using raindrop.io after decades of sticking with the discontinued #Check&GetActiveURLs desktop app. It's mostly really good, but one thing drives me mental. Working with shared #bookmarks practically cripples the search engine (i.e. nothing is found when searching "everywhere") 😩

Here's another one.
If I plug my #charger to the #laptop, it works fine.
If I unplug the charger and plug it into a type-C USB hub, it works fine.
If I start the laptop while the charger is plugged in the USB hub, not enough power is delivered to the laptop.
WTH is going on? 😖😂

What the...!?! 2 days to complete a Kaspersky Antivirus Full Scan does sound a bit excessive, if you ask me 😒

I'm currently battling with #OneDrive not recognising the #M365 1TB storage allowance for one of the "family" members. This is the message that pops-up when you click to stop sharing a #Microsoft #M365Family subscription. Does it feel like quality? 🧐

Things I've already tried:
1. Restore BIOS defaults
2. Disable UEFI
3. Unplug external devices and retry

Might it be related to having restored a #Macrium image from a different drive? I can't see why it'd be an issue, but also can't think of anything else.

#troubleshooting time!
I have a #Lenovo laptop ( #Yoga14 ) and the strangest thing keeps happening. If I restart through #Windows11, the laptop complains there's no boot drive. If I turn it off and on, it works absolutely fine. Anyone has any idea why this might be happening?

Anyways, managed to revive my connections and get back my data, fixed an issue that has probably caused by a Power Platform update (I'm guessing), and the app actually works again. Hah. Nice one 😉

Blimey. A couple of years ago I made a Calorie Count app on #PowerApps; used it for a year too. I tried to spin it up just now and... fair enough, none of the connections works, but I also can't remember what I was doing where 😅
Breaks are awesome; until you have to go back to what you were doing 😖

There's also no way to pause individual files that have already started uploading. All in all, I love the peace of mind #OneDrive offers, but all of the apps (or, better, both the #Windows and #Android apps) feel so very half-baked; like assignments I used to hand-in at Uni, a lifetime ago 😅

More on this. I've been using #Macrium for all my backups, albeit, not to its full potential or even correctly. I'm now trying to copy some backups to #OneDrive, but the sync app for Windows will not let me limit the number of concurrent uploads. So, with my connection, it'll take a few years... 😖

In the last couple of months, I've been on here (or online in general) *at most* sporadically. The reason is that my laptop #NVMe #SSD died on me. Combing through full and file/folder backups from various systems was exhausting!
I'm now at an OK place and working on a better #backup strategy 🤞🏻

Hi there, cheers for the reply and the suggestion. In the end, I drove down a mountain, over 60kms to the closest store that sold them and bought two cartridges. Costed more than the printer itself. Stupid really, but hey-ho, it is what it is. Cheers and I'll look into alternatives for next time 🙌🏻

Fair enough, I'll go ask #Copilot. The result will be the same, but I love the positivity. No matter what I ask, Copilot is always "of course, you can absolutely do that!" and then proceeds to outline made up steps that not even remotely apply. At least, it's making an effort to stay positive 😅

I wonder if anyone can help. I have a #Canon #Pixma #scanner / #printer. It ran out of ink, I ordered some, but it's taking forever to arrive. Unfortunately, I tossed the cartridge and, now, I need to scan, but the device says it won't scan without an ink #cartridge present 😖

If I manually put the URL into the address bar, it navigates to the correct page. However, if I click/tap on the link here, it only navigates to the search page as the querystring is stripped off.
