Ah yes, the game that kept my mental health afloat during my third college semester. It's still as delightful as ever and arguably my favorite video game, period, with its gameplay being some of my favorite in the entire Mario series. Playing it never gets old.

Since I had one page left in my old sketchbook, I figured finally making a drawing for the matchup a lot of #DeathBattle fans associate with me would be a good way to end it off with a bang.

Iroh VS Oogway

Both fighters are taking their fighting stances, with Iroh's being inspired by a pose for the Dragon Dance, while Oogway's is... well, based on a pre-existing render of his. The fight is set in the Spirit World, with the background consisting of a tea set that Iroh brought and the Sacred Peach Tree of Heavenly Wisdom. Both fighters are smiling at each other, knowing this upcoming battle will be a good one.

Just gonna say it, Mario Wonder easily has one of my favorite Bowser portrayals. He's got so much aura, but at the same time, his big plan being that he wants to hypnotize everybody with a sick-ass concert is the most Bowser thing ever, and I adore it for that.

I love making art, but I'm definitely willing to admit that my style has its limits, which is why, whenever I make a new piece, I like to look at my past mistakes and see what I can change or improve on. That slow and steady improvement feels really good!

63) Blade VS Buffy

Damn, this was a fun one. The analyses were really good and the fight was insanely kickass. Mad props to Ismahawk and the team, this is easily the best live-action DB yet.

Because I'm quite excited for the upcoming #DeathBattle episode and I just think he's really fucking cool, I offer this Blade drawing that I really enjoyed doing. Was hoping to make it feel kinda like a comic book cover.
