Digital drawing of my starling Birdfolk character Ihk. They're in the center, their head to the side and looking at the viewer with one eye. They're holding a normal european starling to their chest. It has it's wings spread slightly on Ihk. Two big hands of a woman are holding Ihk by his head and neck. One hand looks almost gentle on their face, framing Ihk's eye with her fingers. But the other hand is gripping around Ihk's neck. The woman's hands look older and labor worn. They're adorned with golden rings and around her wrists are golden and beaded bracelets. Her fingernails are very pointy and sharp, like claws. She's wearing white, wide sleeves. You can't see anything else of the woman other than her hands and a bit of her forearms. The drawing is framed by ears of grain. The background is dark, darker at the top and you can see more tall grain stalks.

Between the wheat are blue forget me not flowers and white yarrow. The cut ends of the wheat appear to be bleeding. The person is wearing a beige dress with red embroidery on the sleeves. They're wearing a bunch of red coral necklaces resembling Ukrainian traditional style. The sleeves are very wide and hanging down. In the sleeves are 3 starlings. Two on the left and one on the right. There's also yarrow and forget me not flowers poking out of the sleeves. The bottom of the sleeves is bloodied and the middle of the dress is too. Presumably where the wheat bled on them. There's two more starlings on each arm. They're snuggling close to the chest of the person but they're also surrounded by the wheat that's being held.
