For what it's worth, one of the ways in which Massachusetts is not as progressive as we could be is the lack of same day voting registration. Even if you're sure about your status taking a minute to check this week can avoid a problem on Election Day.

A reminder to Massachusetts voters, next Saturday Oct 25 is the close of voter registration before election day. You can check your registration status and register online at www.sec.state.ma.us/ovr/ See you at the voting booth showing "this is what democracy looks like" all over again.

The intersection of Church and Main St Wakefield was a great standout spot to get honks from passing motorists. There were flyers, flags, noisemakers and candy (yellow!) for the crowd.
