Freelance tip: Always be firm about prices, even if it means getting rejected. It's tempting to take any jobs when you rarely get jobs to begin with, but you'd be happier drawing what you truly want instead. And if a job is going to be boring anyway, then you might as well get something out of it!

Maximo is a character kinda derived from Ghosts n Goblins, but yeah I agree. Some of the levels themes from Maximo 1 & 2 were great, such as the underworld and the haunted plains.

I try to keep my posts chill with just pixel art vibes, but I've read about some tragic news... not going into detail, but just my advice for streamers: Never stream clues to your location, especially outdoor location patterns. Obsessed fans pick up on that quick and let's just say they're not fans.

This game looks so fun to be a part of for doing the art assets. I have no idea how I'd go about hand drawing those cutscenes yet, but those gameplay assets don't look so difficult to draw/animate on Aseprite. They're small sprites and low color count. youtu.be/1s7ssr4irc0?...
