I’m on Halo 4! Just got through the Bungie ones. This is my first time ever playing them solo. The last time I even touched halo was a little bit of ODST right after it launched. Been cool playing them all back to back! I’m amazed at how few people have the campaign achievements.

Yes, we have examples of governments working for their citizens all over the world. I’d prefer that method of a representative government. But whatever change may bring so long as it’s “good” I’ll get behind it.

No, I’m looking to reverse decades of bad economic policies. Mostly those thought up by Milton Friedman and put into practice by Jack Welch with the help of Reagan rolling back said policies. There was a time when the US came close to attaining what I speak of. And then they happened.

Great system you’ve worked out! When I say “work to attain it” I’m actually talking about reversing years of western, corporatist propaganda that has made the average worker think their taxes should be funneled to corporations and billionaires instead of reinvested back to them.

That’s the point of his original post. Saying this is only bad under the current system (the one with no UBI). Also, if we want anything we must work to attain it. We are but mere mortals after all.

Bring on the universal basic income! I won’t hold my breath but that’s absolutely what needs to happen. Just drives me bonkers that Americans still think their jobs are getting “shipped overseas” when automation has been taking their jobs for 20 years.
