A quick question for VTuber and content creator editors! Do you keep consistent work hours and schedules, or do you just wing it?

I've been keeping up-to-date working hours listed in my Discord status for a while, but it's been hard to stick to! I always feel like I can do more.

In this case, this is human-made. (3 of our judges panel are also involved as collaborators on it: jnWake, pixelseph, and paradiddlesjosh.)

We explicitly do NOT accept any music made with generative A.I. There are tools out there that help identify genAI music. If music involving genAI is ever unknowingly let on, it will be removed if it's discovered.

It turns out that you can’t help everyone all the time at the expense of yourself. It’s unreasonable. That’s the path to burnout. I can’t save everyone, even if I want to sometimes.

There are several people who I should have listened to about that this year, if not sooner.

It’s funny: Therapists often point out problems that you’re causing for yourself that others have already noticed. Sometimes it takes that extra little push to notice it.

That happened to me yesterday. I should take care of myself more. I will.

Being part of what makes other creators' work look great is hard. Comedians aren't the best entertainment at their shows when they're going through a rough time, and the same goes for video editors.

I'm taking things one step at a time.

Despite the stress I've felt recently: I'm so happy that I can do what I love for a living.
It took ages to get here, and it takes plenty of effort to maintain, but it's all worth it.
